Bước 4: Khi nước đã sôi, giảm lửa và cho 1 muỗng canh đường vào nồi, khuấy đều. Để nồi nấu trên bếp gas trong vòng 2-3 giờ cho đến khi thịt mềm. Khi đã nấu xong, bạn có thể thêm 1 muỗng cà phê nước tương vào nồi để làm cho món ăn có vị ngọt hơn.

Bước 5: Khi thịt kho tàu đã sẵn sàng, bạn có thể ăn nó với cơm hoặc trộn với một loại bánh tráng nhỏ và các loại rau thơm khác để tạo thành một món ăn nhẹ.
